Hi,

the PADT is a very create and impressive tool, i would like to introduce it in our environment but i have a question.

Is it possible, for sccm use, that padt set a registrykey for the application on
  • HKLM\SOFTWARE\MYNAME\Installed
  • HKLM\SOFTWARE\MYNAME\UnInstalled
if the installation is ready and all done the padt set an installed Key with the Installationname, Version and date of installed product and them same for uninstallation.

i would like to use this as detectionrule in sccm ;).

I hope that is good explained!

with best regards

Hi André,

Sure, you can do that:

Set-RegistryKey -Key "HKLM:\SOFTWARE\MYNAME\Installed\$installName" -Name "Version" -Value $appVersion
Set-RegistryKey -Key "HKLM:\SOFTWARE\MYNAME\Installed\$installName" -Name "Install Date" -Value $currentDate

It's not something we would include by default in the toolkit, so you'd have to add those lines in to your own deployment scripts.
